    Dear Wahoo Faithful,

We suck big time. Just look at the game score against Wyoming (thank God it's not televised).

I think some team wide Seppuku (look it up) should be in order for some of the coaching staff and players. There is no excuse for sucking this bad.

You are hard up for teams. Is WVU playing richlands next week or is it Northwest southern lousiana state tech.

    Re: Dear Wahoo Faithful,

I was at the game today and it was very sad.

Olsen got pulled (justly) and McCabe looks like he could be servicable. Other than that, pretty awful.

I have yet to understand the culture surrounding football here. This is a "rebuilding year" according to the pundits. WTF!! You don't rebuild from a [censored] 7-5 record, that IS your rebuilding year if you are trying to be a decent program. All the publications I've read have talked about how much were gonna miss the guys from last years 'stellar' team. WE WERE BARELY ABOVE .500!!!!

The amount of bs and spin is sickening. One guy tried to pitch the Pitt game like it was a good learning experience. Another said, in reference to Deyon Williams' injury, "we are missing an All-ACC caliber receiver." I didnt know whether to laugh or cry. Williams dropped a minimum of 2 passes each game last yeah....and not tough ones either, many in his breadbasket.

Finally, I have yet to understand the obession with Coah Groh's 'greatness.' What in the hell has the man ever done? Go to an average bowl every year and mantain a slightly above average win percentage? And his son being the O-Cord? Reeks of nepotism, especially with the ineptitude of our offense. No one knows if he's any good b/c all he's done is coach for his daddy.

Take last year: beat number 4 ranked FSU and then go on the road and lose to lowly UNC....WITHOUT SCORING A TOUCHDOWN!!! at some point that has to be traced back to coaching.

I hope things improve, but if they don't i can deal with it if it results in Groh getting the ax and not having to put up with his arrogance for another 2 yrs. Its as if he thinks he's entitled to coach, like its written in stone.

    Re: Dear Wahoo Faithful,

Could this be Sourpuss Groh's last year in Charlottesville?

    Re: Dear Wahoo Faithful,

    Amen brother.

If I see that Olsen is the starting QB AGAIN against Western Michigan I'm going to **** a brick. Groh only let Anthony Martinez screw up once against SC and then he was gone, what's different with this situation. And I agree with so many who question why the heck a sucky 5th year senior qb is allowed to run the offense. Groh seems to perpetually have the team in rebuilding mode.

As for firing Groh... unlikely. With the contract extension that he was given last year our AD said a buyout for Groh would be "Astronomical". Given the amount of money the alums have given for the JPJ or "the Jack" (is basketball season here yet?) I don't see people allowing the AD to boot Groh. UVA football is stuck. We're going to have to hope for a Joe Paterno like resurrection of the program (ala last year). Then again we are talking about UVA football...

    Re: Dear Wahoo Faithful,

If what you say about Groh and getting a contract extention is true, then Littlepage (the AD right?) should be fired.

Groh has done abso-freakin-lutely nothing to warrant an extension.

I dont understand how the athletics program can be at the top of the ACC (or at least competitive) in nearly every sport but football. Re: Dear Wahoo Faithful,

UVA has been "young" and "rebuilding" for about 10 years now
